Postdoc (f/m/x) in the Mathematical Modeling in Medicine and Life Sciences Group 

The position is available for a duration of 9 months. Place of employment is Linz. The working language is English. (part-time, 10 h per week)

Your Tasks

The hired person will work on the development and implementation of mathematical models and numerical algorithms for cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation, in particular related to multiscale time-dependent models. The work will not only include the validation of the algorithms via simulations, but also the development of computing software and its validation with our experimental data. Your Profile

  • PhD in Applied Mathematics or a related area.
  • Strong background in numerical mathematics and modelling is required.
  • Experience in programming.
  • English skills needed.
