Postdoc (f/m/x) in the Inverse Problems and Mathematical Imaging Group
(Full-time employee)
Your Tasks
The full-time position is affiliated with the "Inverse Problems and Mathematical Imaging" Group (led by Professor Otmar Scherzer) at RICAM, located in Linz/Austria. For further information please contact Prof. Otmar Scherzer at otmar.scherzer@ricam.oeaw.ac.at.
The hired person will work on regularization methods for nonlinear ill-posed problems and applications in optics and microscopy. In particular we expect that the hired researcher strongly interacts with the experimentalist at the Medical University of Vienna.
Your Profile
- Strong interests in Inverse Problems.
- Expert knowledge in either one of the following topics: Mathematical Modeling of Imaging Systems, Mathematical Tomography, Regularization Theory, Iterative Algorithms or Optimization is preferential.
- Doctorate in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field is required.
- English skills needed.
