POSTDOC POSITION (F/M/X)
(Part-time employee)
Your Tasks
- Design and conduct the cronosequencing field survey according to the standards in the forefield of Hallstätter glacier
- Analyse the data (PCA and other statistical analysis)
Publish the data in a OA repository - Write a final report
Your Profile
- Academic background: A PhD degree (or equivalent) in ecology, biodiversity research or a related field is required
- Experience with chronosequencing in glacier forefields
Strong statistical and programming skills (experience with GIS software) - Experience in writing scientific publications
- Interdisciplinary interest
- Teamwork and communication: Strong collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Language: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken. German is a plus.
Our Offer
- 3 Months 20 % Postdoc position based in Innsbruck, Austria, starting at July 01st, 2025.

- The annual gross salary for this position is € 13.805,68, according to the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
