As a central non-university institution for science and research, the Austrian Academy of Sciences - OeAW has the task of "promoting science in every respect". Postdoc (f/m/x)
part-time / 20 hours per week
Your Tasks
- Participation in ongoing research projects and activities of the research group “Sustainable Urban Regions”, as well as involvement in the preparation of project proposals.
Your Profile
- Completed doctorate in a spatial science discipline (spatial planning, geography, cartography, or related fields)
- Demonstrated expertise and project experience in the fields of mobility, energy, public services of general interest, and regional planning
- Experience in the application of qualitative and, in particular, quantitative methods in regional research, including statistical and GIS software
- Experience in participating in research projects (e.g. funded by the FFG) and applied projects, including cooperation with practice-oriented partners
- Excellent command of German and English
- Ability to work in a team, creativity, and a high degree of independence

- Gross monthly salary for this part-time position according to the collective agreement of at least € 2,465.30
