The Linguistics Research Department at the Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH), an institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), Austria's largest non-university institution for basic research, is seeking to fill

Your Tasks
As a student assistant, you will work on the Austrian Academy of Sciences' long-term project ‘Language Dynamics in Austria (DynAT)’. The project focuses on language variation and language change in Austria yesterday and today, with a particular focus on lexis (vocabulary).
Your tasks will primarily include assisting with the preparation and evaluation of language data, supporting the project team with research tasks and publications, and organizing project-related events (especially conferences and workshops).
Your Profile
- You are enrolled in a Master's programme in German Studies
- Experience in the field of variation linguistics, dialectology and/or lexicology
- Experience in the preparation and analysis of language data
- Experience with digital tools and methods
