Predoc (f/m/x) Position  

 (Part-time employee 30 hours/week)

 (Office)

Your Tasks

  • Participation in and coordination of international comparative legal projects (research focus: Austrian and European Private Law, Tort Law, Comparative Law)
  • Independent research
  • English and/or German publications and research presentations 
  • Submission of applications for projects with the EU, FWF or other funding agencies

Your Profile

  • Completed master’s degree in law (preferably Austrian or German law), with above-average success

  • Very good knowledge of civil law and adjacent areas of law

  • Interest in a dissertation project in the area of comparative tort law
  • Excellent knowledge of both German and English (oral and written); further languages desirable
  • Experience abroad and/or ability to work in an international environment 

  • High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work

  • Team player, organisational skills
