Postdoc (f/m/x) in the Many-Body Quantum Optics Project Group
(full-time, 40 hours/week)
for the project "SFB QNNECT" led by Prof. Hannes Pichler.
Your Tasks
- Work on theory of neutral atoms and their application for quantum simulation and quantum information processing tasks.
- Writing scientific publications
- Tutor bachelor, master and PhD-students
- Attendance of conferences and workshops
- Supporting the group in administrative tasks
Your Profile
- Highly motivated researcher with strong interested in quantum science
- PhD degree in physics with demonstrated ability for excellent research
- Strong background in quantum optics, quantum information and/or condensed matter physics (outstanding candidates with other backgrounds will also be considered)
- Excellent verbal and written English skills

The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 70.167,44 (full-time based), in accordance with the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW).
